Center for Reconstructive Pediatrics

The Center for Reconstructive Pediatrics is dedicated to targeting the needs of families of children with plastic surgical concerns, either due to birth anomalies or secondary to trauma or malignancy.

Aaron C. Mason, MD, FAAP directs the center and is uniquely trained in the care of children. Trained as both a pediatrician and a plastic surgeon, Dr. Mason brings 12 years of experience to the care of children and their families.

General office hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays evaluate and treat children with a multitude of concerns ranging from lacerations and facial fracture repairs to removal of skin lesions and wound care. Three multidisciplinary clinics occupy Mondays and provide multi-specialty coordinated care for specific congenital anomalies. Through these efforts state of the art reconstructive services to patients and their families are coordinated for the greater San Antonio region.
