Diabetes Care
The Diabetes Program at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa focuses on self-management education for people with diabetes who are in the hospital and at high risk for complications.
The high-risk inpatient diabetic population includes people who are newly diagnosed, have uncontrolled diabetes, have gestational diabetes, recently started taking insulin or who have a health problem such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hypersmolar hyperglycemic state or hypoglycemia.
We also offer weekly outpatient classes for people with gestational diabetes. These classes are available only with a physician referral.
