Outpatient Rehabilitation
Work Injury/Prevention Program
Individuals who have sustained a work injury through acute trauma or repetitive activity; (but do not require inpatient hospitalization) can access CHRISTUS Santa Rosa outpatient rehabilitation’s spectrum of care for injured workers.
The key to comprehensive care revolves around complete analysis of the injury and implementation of a skilled therapy program. Trained professionals offer treatment, education and training specific to the needs of the job.
Candidates for work injury/prevention programs are eligible for a comprehensive functional capacity evaluation to determine what their work ability will be. The evaluation will also project what and how much treatment will be needed to return them to full productivity.
If necessary, the therapist can provide an on-site work assessment to collaborate with the employer to make possible workstation adjustments to enhance the injured worker’s productivity.
