Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital offers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services specifically for children.
Our services are unique in that children are involved in a dynamic, flexible, integrated treatment program that involves many different health care professionals. Our facilities help maximize children's abilities and assist them in returning to school and home.
Our inpatient rehabilitation program is the first of its kind in San Antonio to operate within an acute care hospital. It is designed to help children and their families minimize disabilities and reach optimal function as completely and quickly as possible.
Our outpatient programs are designed for children who are medically stable but have experienced an injury, illness or birth defect. Our patients include children with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burns, neonatal developmental disorders, multiple trauma, rheumatologic and musculoskeletal disorders and amputations.
