Our foundations support the many services and programs provided to patients in need in San Antonio and across South Texas. For more than 133 years, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa has been a pillar in the San Antonio community, providing much-needed health care to sick and injured men, women, boys and girls. People just like you ensure the future prosperity of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa, through your generous gifts of time and money.
The Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care Foundation supports the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospice program, long a symbol of the compassionate and sensitive care offered throughout the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospitals.
We also support Santa Rosa’s Community HealthWatch, a program that provides pharmaceuticals to underserved patients in the poorest sections of San Antonio, the Santa Rosa Transplant Institute and the Los Quijotes outreach mission to Mexico. Additionally, the Friends of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care Foundation has helped purchase new cardiac rehabilitation equipment, an analyzer for the diabetes center, portable x-ray machines, newborn hearing screening equipment, laparoscopic surgical equipment and grief materials for patients.
Your efforts also make it possible for the Santa Rosa Children's Hospital Foundation to support the asthma education program, the children’s dialysis center, the child life/child development program and respite station, the family health library and the Ronald McDonald House. The Children’s Hospital Foundation also supplies funds to help purchase much needed equipment such as an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) laser, transport ventilators, monitors for the emergency center, plasmapheresis equipment for sickle cell patients and new monitors for the pediatric intensive care unit.
