If you would like to charge your gift to a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card, please call (210) 704-3530. You may make a one-time contribution or you may choose to pledge a monthly donation of a specified amount that will automatically be billed to your credit card once each month. You will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution.
Cash is the most popular way to make charitable gifts. And your gift of cash to either of our foundations costs you less when you consider the charitable deduction on your federal income tax. For example, if you make a gift of $1,000 and you are in the 27 percent marginal tax bracket, your gift could save you $270 in taxes. The federal government recognizes the contributions that charitable organizations such as ours make to society and encourages you to support us by offering you tax deductions.
